Before Applying online, candidate must have a scanned copy of recent passport size colour photograph and Signature. Size of photograph and Signature should be less than 120KB. The extension of photo and Signature must be .jpg, .gif or.png. Without photograph and Signature, candidates cannot apply.

The candidate shall have to submit the application fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only), wherever, applicable. Candidate has to pay fee through State Bank Collect Portal.While paying fee, candidate must note Transaction No./ State Bank Collect Reference No.generated after successful payment for future reference. A copy of printed e-receipt is to be enclosedwith hard copy of application form.

Wherever desirable experience claimed, it is mandatory to upload necessary document proof (2-3 pages of A-4 size paper in pdf format only and size should not be more than 1MB).

For the post reserved for OBC category, it is required for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidate to upload copy of 'Form of Declaration' supporting their claim in the application that they do not belong to the OBC (Creamy Layer) category based on income for the immediate preceding three financial years.

from 24.02.2025 to 28.03.2025 (11:30 PM). After submission of application through online mode, it is mandatory to all the candidates to get its print and send the same along with copies of the relevant educational qualifications, experience and testimonials etc. by registered post/speed Post to the Director, CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur, Distt.: Kangra (H.P.)- 176061 immediately and should reach in this office on or before 04.04.2025 (05:30PM).For candidates residing in far flung areas viz North Eastern Regions, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Lahaul & Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh, UT of Ladakh etc., the last date of receipt of online generated application is up to 09.04.2025 (5:30 PM).The online applications of the candidates will not be considered, if he/she failed to submit its print (hard copy) alongwith requisite documents with in the stipulated date and time to the address as mentioned above.
2. Applicant will be allotted online Registration Number printed on the acknowledgement slip containing the details (Registration number and Password). Candidates are advised to note their registration number and password immediately after generation by the system, keep it with him/her confidentially and should not share the same with anybody. CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR-IHBT) / CDAC Mohali shall not liable for any breach done by anyone using the registration number and password shared by the candidate
3. During filling the online application form, the candidate shall have to upload legible essential documents.
4. The candidate shall have to submit the application Fees of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only). Candidate have to pay fee online through State Bank Collect Portal for Online Fee Payment before the submission of the application. Candidate shall have to take print out of the acknowledgement of fee receipt.
5. In case the candidate fails to submit the application fee, then his/her application shall stand automatically cancelled/rejected and shall not be considered for further processing.
6. The application fee is Non-refundable and the last date for Online submission of fee is
28.03.2025 through State Bank Collect Portal.
7. Candidates may apply for more than one post if eligible, by submitting separate
application and submit the application fee for each of the separate application

If by mistake the candidate has filled in wrong data, he/she can correct the data up to 28.03.2025 (11:30 PM) i.e. last date for submission of online application by entering his/her registration number and password.Thereafter, no editing will be done and thereafter data will be locked and no change will be acceptable/ allowed. Candidates are advised to send hard copy of latest updated application to this Institute within stipulated date and time.

The Registration slip will be generated after filing the online form. Get the printout (2 copies) of the Registration Slip for future reference.
